English as an Additional Language Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as an EAL Teaching Assistant in a school in Havering. This is a term-time only position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children learning English as an Additional Language.

The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching or child-based experience, preferably working with children who require additional support. Previous experience working with SEN and EAL children is desirable.

In this role, you will assist teachers with delivering inclusive learning by accommodating the needs of children with EAL. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, collaborating with professionals to aid the academic development of pupils and ensuring a safe and equitable environment for all children.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, ranging from £20,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, a benefits package includes opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
