About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating multi-axis CNC machines, editing programs, and performing basic maintenance on machines and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multi-axis CNC machines, including Bridgeport, Hurco, and Protrack
  • Edit programs at the machine
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and tools
  • Produce high-quality low-batch components from drawings
  • Self-inspect machined parts
  • No offline programming
  • Several years of CNC machining experience
  • Conversant with setting and operating CNC mills and lathes
  • Ability to confidently set and operate CNC mills and lathes
  • Proven self-inspection skills
  • Deburring
Requirements
  • Understanding of 5's, continuous improvement, and Kanban
  • CMM inspection knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
