Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team as a Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our elective cardiology service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the Cardiology Service, including capacity planning and demand management.
  • Support the non-clinical support staff in booking and arranging appointments, managing stock, and dealing with patient issues.
  • Collaborate with consultants and clinical team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the provision of a full range of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting.
  • Ensure that all procedures are conducted in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and echocardiography.
  • Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a team of staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
