Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance PR/Communications Consultant to join our team at May & Stephens. As a Freelance PR/Communications Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the PR efforts for a range of exciting clients across various sectors, including aerospace, defense, technology, and corporate PR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to achieve client goals and objectives
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, media, and other stakeholders
  • Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the PR landscape, including government affairs, corporate, defense, aerospace, and technology PR
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in PR and communications, with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Flexibility to work 2 days per week
