We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lymphoedema Specialist to join our team at St Margaret's Somerset Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to patients with lymphoedema.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for patients with primary and secondary lymphoedema.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote self-management and improve outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in lymphoedema management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of lymphoedema policies and procedures.
- Registration and professional qualification as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records and other software applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to community locations.
