Job Description

Job Title: Senior ICT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

Excelerate is seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Technology Projects Team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that enhance our customers' operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical server and cloud projects according to specifications and best practice
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and knowledgebase
  • Scope project requirements and produce a Statement of Work documentation
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to produce new business proposals and to review customers' existing infrastructures, suggesting areas for modernisation
  • Ensure all time spent on projects is recorded accurately and within our corporate service delivery system
  • Ensure project handovers are documented and completed, working with colleagues from our service desk to ensure smooth integration

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Evidenced experience of working within an IT support environment or for a Managed Service Provider
  • At least 1 formal IT qualification for example, AZ-104 or AZ-801, MD-101 or SC900
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server environments and cloud technologies including Intune, Entra ID, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy, PowerShell
  • Good working knowledge of Firewalls, Antivirus and Malware configuration
  • Experience working on IT Server & Cloud projects involving planning, installation, and documentation
  • ITIL Foundation qualification
  • Knowledge of structured and fibre cabling
  • Experience of Switching Configuration
  • Experience of Wireless Configuration
