Position Overview
The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work, build, and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. Due to the secure nature of the project - All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (DV) level.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Infrastructure Security Specialist, you will be an integral part of our collaborative team, united by a shared dedication to a transformative IT infrastructure program of utmost importance. You will join us in shaping the future of IT infrastructure on a grand scale, where your contributions will be pivotal in driving forward this ambitious endeavour.

- Seamlessly integrating development outputs into release modules
- Spearheading their progression through relevant stages into operational service
- Navigating the release-to-service process, including security and accreditation procedures
- Providing invaluable technical insights and expertise on designs, solutions, tools, techniques, and standards
- Hands-on development of pragmatic solutions for real-world challenges
- Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving incidents

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Windows and/or Redhat Linux server administration
- Expertise in configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Foreman
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Command over virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenShift
- Sound grasps of network fundamentals encompassing DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and HTTP
- Knowledge of Azure and AWS Cloud Technologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, PowerShell, and Bash
