About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Access Nurse Specialist to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our specialist team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular access services to patients across the trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide vascular access services to patients, promoting high standards of care and utilizing specialist knowledge and skills.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective practice in vascular access.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Participate in education and training programs to develop and maintain expertise in vascular access.
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse with a degree-level qualification and experience in vascular access.
- Competent in cannulation and vascular access procedures.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of nurses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
