About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Access Specialist Nurse to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our specialist team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular access services to patients across the trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vascular access services to patients, promoting high standards of care and utilizing specialist knowledge and skills.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective practice in vascular access.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse with a degree-level qualification and experience in vascular access.
  • Competent in cannulation and vascular access procedures.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
