About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our Homelessness Service team at Sanctuary Group. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to customers, empowering them to maximize their potential and independence
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored support plans to promote their well-being and confidence
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy and dignity
  • Liaise with external agencies to enhance customer outcomes and provide training and encouragement towards employment and education
  • Manage emergency situations with professionalism and poise
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions

Requirements

  • Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent organizational skills, with functional literacy and numeracy
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and work to deadlines
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
