Experienced Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Develop and design outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, campuses, and residential areas, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Site Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions, such as soil quality, topography, climate, and vegetation, to inform the design process and ensure suitability for proposed projects.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that landscape designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, environmental regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Client Communication: Meet with clients to discuss project goals, present design proposals, and make revisions based on client feedback, ensuring that the final design aligns with their vision and requirements.
- Education and Experience: Degree in Landscape Architecture alongside experience with Horticulture, Environmental Science, and Site Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with CAD, Sketchup, and GIS.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of ecology, horticulture, plants, and other related fields.
