PJA is a leading independent transport, engineering, and placemaking specialist in the UK, with offices in multiple locations. Our Water Team: A Growing and Strategically Important Sector

Our Water team is a growing and strategically important sector of the business, with capabilities across flood risk, hydraulic modelling, surface water design, river restoration, nutrient neutrality, and more. If you have an interest in the water environment, are enthusiastic to learn, creative, and keen to make a technical contribution to the understanding of the water environment for our public and private clients, we look forward to hearing from you.

Requirements

We are looking to recruit candidates to work within our Transport, Engineering, and Placemaking teams in all our office locations. We welcome your application if you have graduated within the last 12 months, or are due to graduate in 2024, with a predicted 2.1 (or above) Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree in one of the following subjects:

Transport Planning, Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Flood Risk Management, Geology, Environmental Geoscience, and Engineering Geology

As a member of our Graduate Development Programme, you can expect the appointment of a dedicated mentor who will be responsible for your well-being and development. We will also provide you with the support towards professional qualifications and reward you with a competitive salary and benefits package.
