CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Shift Technician to join our client's team in Edinburgh. This role offers the opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the smooth operation of essential building systems.
As an M&E Shift Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment. Your expertise will ensure the efficient functioning of the building's infrastructure, providing a comfortable and safe environment for occupants.
Responsibilities:- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Preventative Maintenance (RPM) tasks as assigned through Maximo or other systems, aligning with your skill set.
- Thoroughly document completed tasks within Maximo and promptly report any issues to the M&E Lead for resolution, ensuring accurate task closure.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment to independently resolve non-routine problems, offering effective solutions to immediate work challenges.
- Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize allocated work, taking ownership and delivering tasks to the highest standard.
- A Level 2 qualification in a relevant mechanical/electrical trade is highly desirable.
- Substantial experience working within a building services environment is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant policies and procedures, adhering to RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and codes of safe working practices.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work (HASAW) requirements and responsibilities.
