About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver multiple customer shipments in the local region, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Operate Company HGV vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures.
  • Load and secure vehicles daily, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as needed.
  • Provide a high-quality driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Comply with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues regarding delivery issues or exceptions.
