Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Commercial Executive within the aviation industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and grow into an effective charter sales executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the commercial department in achieving business objectives and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to become an effective charter sales executive, with a focus on managing enquiries, coordinating with customer services for flight operations, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Handle enquiries, make offers, and accept bookings as directed, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients.
  • Coordinate with Customer Services to ensure seamless flight operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Negotiate with clients to procure the best value for the company and airline partners, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information to clients, ensuring timely offers and follow-up communication.
  • Work closely with the commercial department to identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existing markets, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers on contract-related issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in proactive networking and business development activities to build relationships with potential clients and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Vocational experience within the aviation industry, preferably with an aircraft operator or handler.
  • Knowledge of the aviation market, including aircraft types, is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with demanding customers from different cultures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
