We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our client's established engineering team at their busy Distribution Centre in Wakefield.
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of highly automated equipment, including conveyors, box ladders, tote stackers, shuttle systems, and A-frame tablet dispensers. You will also be responsible for the general maintenance of the site facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Reading assembly drawings and stripping and re-assembling with hand tools
- System testing, field wiring, system calibration, and interpreting circuit diagrams
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong attention to detail
- CMMS use
- Service and repair of equipment on site
- Adherence to Health & Safety Guidelines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to role requirements
- Performing routine preventative and reactive maintenance
- Hands-on ownership of issues
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical & Pneumatic Qualification
- Technical department experience, especially in maintenance
- Experience with working on automated conveyor systems
- A solid understanding of Health and Safety policies
- Technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic equipment
- Excellent understanding of automated equipment and controls
- Both Electrical and Mechanical skills
- Root cause analysis skill
- Salary: £42,189 + Shift Supplement (TBC)
