Adult Education Tutor Position

We are seeking experienced teaching professionals to join our team as adult education tutors. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality instruction to adults in maths and English, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their skills.

About the Team

The English and Maths team at Learning Services Worcestershire works proactively to address barriers to learning and achievement experienced by vulnerable individuals in our communities. Our innovative approach brings engaging and relevant learning opportunities to a wide range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to adult learners in maths and English
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a full teaching qualification at level 5 or above. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will need to adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is £26, and you will receive 26 days of paid holiday (pro rata for part-time staff). We also offer flexible working arrangements, a comprehensive pension scheme, and professional learning and development opportunities.
