Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Business Insights Strategic Projects Director to join our team in London. As a pivotal leadership role in the Business Insights and Workforce Management team, you will be responsible for fostering collaboration among diverse functions, ensuring that each project is executed with a strong foundation in data, analytics, and insight creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of cross-market and business projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful execution.
  • Work closely with diverse teams across finance, technology, HR, and the business insights team in operations to scope, design, and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to create actionable insights that inform decision-making and drive project success, ensuring that all initiatives are supported by robust evidence.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and success.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion best practices and process improvements within project management and delivery, enhancing the overall effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years in delivering strategic business and analytics projects that have driven business insights and outcomes, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing cross-business and market level projects.
  • Strong aptitude for aligning project goals with business strategy and long-term objectives, ensuring that initiatives deliver meaningful impact.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform decision-making and project direction.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear articulation of project goals, progress, and insights to diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of financial principles and budgeting processes to effectively manage project budgets and resources.
  • Familiarity with data and technology solutions utilized to support business insights (e.g., Power BI, SQL Server, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, etc.) for effective data handling and reporting.
