About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Track Systems team at Formula One. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for driving technical projects to help achieve our organization's goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and experience working on technical projects. You will be responsible for supporting department projects from a technical perspective, with a focus on electronics. This will involve working with internal technical groups to research, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions.

You will also be responsible for researching and understanding new technologies that could bring value to our operation. This will involve representing the Track Systems department at technical meetings with business owners or technical specialists (internal and external).

Main Responsibilities
  • Support department projects from a technical perspective, with a focus on electronics.
  • Work with internal technical groups to research, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Research and understand new technologies that could bring value to our operation.
  • Represent the Track Systems department at technical meetings with business owners or technical specialists (internal and external).
  • Compile concise technical proposals.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of recognized project management methodologies.
  • Plan and conduct demonstrations and tests.
About You
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or related engineering experience.
  • Experience working within technical projects.
  • Experience of working within a similar technical environment, ideally motorsport.
  • Experience with design and development of technical systems, from concept through to testing and deployment.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Great planning skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
