Greenwell Gleeson is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team in a healthcare provider based in South Birmingham.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a beautiful and tranquil setting, providing care to the elderly, including Dementia Care, Nursing Care, and Respite care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Payroll and Finance Assistants team.
  2. Review and consolidate Asset Register changes.
  3. Develop and manage budgets with stakeholders.
  4. Oversee the annual financial audit, ensuring robust records and filing.
  5. Manage financial aspects of tenders, projects, and grants.
  6. Provide advice on potential investments and play a key role in decision-making.
  7. Reconcile reports to the Managing Director, detailing Income, Labour, and Occupancy, with related Trend Graphs.
  8. Cash flow forecasting.
  9. Aged debtors report.
  10. Prepare year-end accounts, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and deferred income.
  11. Develop future year forecasts and review targets.
  12. Supervise Weekly Bank Reconciliation to Sage.
  13. Manage Petty Cash distribution and maintenance.
  14. Oversee Service User Client Accounts.
  15. Manage Payroll process.
  16. Record Payroll into accounts and management reporting systems.
  17. Respond to HMRC and Pensions employer communications.
  18. Support Payroll Assistant in resolving employee issues.
  19. Weekly Reporting of Labour Reports from FMS System with commentary.
Key Skills
  1. ACCA/CIMA Qualified or QBE with 10+ years of experience.
  2. Healthcare industry experience preferred but not necessary.
  3. Proficiency in Sage 50, Sage Accounting, and Sage Payroll.
  4. Competent in using Excel for data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  5. Strong team leadership skills to ensure the Finance Team functions at a high level.
  6. Diligence and commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.
