Joiner Role at YourRetreats Ltd

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our innovative manufacturing company specializing in park and luxury lodges. As a Joiner, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by using your technical skills and attention to detail to ensure finished products are both functional and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as doors, frames, floors, and ceilings
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials accurately based on project requirements
  • Install cabinets and counters, repair furniture, and assemble prefabricated structures
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure items are built to specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, both on-site and off-site
  • Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and in safe working condition
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Joiner
  • Extensive knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, plastic, and other materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Health and safety awareness and compliance, including working at heights and using power tools safely
