Job Title: Lead Carpenter
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at YourRetreats Ltd. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of our lodges and the full build. You will ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of skilled labourers and joiners
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Ensure all items are built to specifications
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and tools
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a joiner
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Deep understanding of joinery and carpentry techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Health and safety awareness
