Job Title: Outpatient Sister/Charge Nurse

Spire South Bank Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outpatient Sister or Charge Nurse to join their dynamic and patient-focused team. As a key member of the Outpatients Department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients and contributing to the hospital's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Outpatients Manager in leading and managing the team, ensuring seamless departmental operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Provide individualized nursing care and procedures, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Chaperone and assist Consultants during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient care.
  • Carry out risk assessments and Datix investigations, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills, as well as those of others, to enhance patient care and departmental performance.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety, security, and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years' registration experience.
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Strong assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable.
