Maths Teacher/Professional Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher/Professional to work with secondary schools in the Swindon area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maths and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives and education.

The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons to students, assess and evaluate student progress, and develop effective teaching strategies to enhance learning. A strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths is essential.

Preferred qualifications include Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree or experience in mathematics or a related field. Experience working with children and young people within education is also desirable.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - preferred but not essential
  • Degree or experience in mathematics or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Maths specialism
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
