About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Specialist Teacher to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Maths Specialist Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths education to students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maths curricula for students with varying abilities
  • Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support and interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to plan and deliver maths lessons
  • Cover other subjects, including science, as required
  • Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • QTS qualification and experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong maths curriculum knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Part-time position, up to 4 days per week, term-time only
