This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our dynamic and research-active team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing world-class, evidence-based care to patients with various types of cancer, including gynaecological tumours, lymphomas, upper GI and Head & Neck cancers, brain tumours, skin cancers, neuro-endocrine cancers, and sarcomas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing specialist oncology services to the Norfolk population
  • Leading multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans
  • Developing and implementing service improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in medical oncology, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to working hours. They will also be expected to live within a 15-mile radius of the base trust or have a reliable means of transportation.

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a comprehensive pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
