Part-Time History Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time History Teacher, with a valid QTS, to join our team in a school setting. This role is ideal for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced educator seeking flexibility in their career, as it offers the opportunity to work three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive history lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback on students' progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for history
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students
  • Attend staff meetings and actively participate in professional development sessions
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in History or a related field
  • Experience teaching history at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
