Vision Care Support Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Optical Assistant to join our team at Specsavers in Horsham. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our optometrists. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all patients receive the highest level of service and care. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include assisting optometrists with eye tests, dispensing glasses and contact lenses, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Benefits and Salary Information
The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 per year, based on industry standards and the requirements of the role. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a performance-related bonus scheme, 28 days annual leave, full-time hours of 40.5 hours per week, no late nights, pension contribution, discounted hearing and eyecare benefits, enhanced sick pay, enhanced pay for family leave, and WeCare – UK confidential employee helpline.
