We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Engineering. This full-time position combines two exciting roles: delivering on the T-Level Mechatronics course and teaching and assessing the next generation of Engineering Apprentices.

**Role Overview:**

As a Lecturer in Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction on the T-Level Mechatronics course. You will also teach and assess apprentices in areas such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Control Systems, and PLCs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Deliver high-quality instruction on the T-Level Mechatronics course
* Teach and assess apprentices in areas such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Control Systems, and PLCs
* Share your industry expertise to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of 3 years' work experience in the Engineering sector
* A Level 3 Engineering Qualification or above
* Competency in Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Control Systems, and PLCs
* Ideally, experience with teaching, assessing, and IQA. However, if you don't have a teaching qualification, we will provide full training and qualifications to support your development into a confident lecturer

As a College, we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service.

Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
