Location: Primary School Setting
Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:45 - 3:15)
About the Role:
- Working with groups of children aged between 3 and 11 (Nursery to Year 6) and supporting their learning and development.
- Following instructions and guidance given by the class teacher to ensure effective lesson delivery.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children in and out of the classroom environment.
- Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime activities to promote social skills and responsibility.
- Providing support to children with special educational needs and disabilities to ensure inclusive learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation to enhance student outcomes.
- Delivering small group instruction and one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Monitoring student progress and reporting back to teachers to inform future instruction.
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with teachers, students, and parents.
