About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-11.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
  • Supporting children with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime, promoting social skills and emotional well-being
  • Preparing classroom materials and resources to support lesson plans
  • Observing and reporting on children's progress to the class teacher

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about education and has a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children. As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be:

  • Experienced in working with children or adults in a caring capacity
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of behavior and safety in the classroom
  • Willing to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
