About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Legal Director - Commercial to join our team at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will provide strategic legal advice and support to our international business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing risks.

As Interim Legal Director - Commercial, you will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and have responsibility for advising on general commercial legal and regulatory matters. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure compliance, manage risks, and provide strategic, pragmatic legal advice on behalf of the business.

The role requires a strong understanding of commercial, contract, and marketing law, with experience handling and advising on anti-trust issues in a retail business. You will lead and manage a team of high-performing lawyers responsible for a wide range of commercial contract matters, including retail and distribution agreements, leases, manufacturing and supply agreements, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice and support to the international business

Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' post-qualification experience
  • Solid training and qualifications from a leading national or international law firm
  • In-house experience is critical, as is attention to detail
  • Highly effective communicator (written and oral) and negotiator at all levels
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align legal strategies with business goals
