Job Title: Project Manager - Flood Risk and Environmental Improvement

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at JBA Consulting. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that aim to reduce flood risk and improve the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, programmes, and risks
  • Deliver projects to achieve the Environment Agency's current six-year FCERM programme
  • Manage sub-contractors and NEC-form contracts
  • Deliver accurate cost forecasts and progress reporting
  • Work with others on project delivery
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage project Health and Safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification, degree, or equivalent
  • Post-graduate qualifications in project management (MSc., Prince2 or equivalent) desirable
  • Chartered status with the Association of Project Management (APM) or willingness to work towards it
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications
  • Use of project programming software (e.g. MS Project)
  • NEC contract management
  • Financial management
  • Team building and resource management
  • Report writing and quality assurance
  • Problem solving

Desirable:

  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations
  • Experience working in a BIM Level 2 environment

Location:

The role will be based in either our Haywards Heath or Portsmouth offices and may involve travel to other JBA office locations. JBA supports agile working which provides for greater flexibility with the way that we work.
