Job Title: IT Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team at The King co. As a key member of our Information Systems Section, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex infrastructure and technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure and technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability, maintaining a strong focus on cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Identify and implement system backup, recovery, and business continuity solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards, protecting sensitive data and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases for new ICT projects, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Optimise existing systems for improved performance and security, leveraging expertise in infrastructure technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing complex technology projects within large organisations, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Cloud, SQL, and CISCO networking.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Prince2 and Agile.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply.
  • Experience with Office 365 and various established technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A full driving license and willingness to travel as required, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
