Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and provide advice on procedural matters
  • Attend meetings of councillor and officer-led groups, both in-person and virtually
  • Provide high-level administrative support to our councillors and officers
  • Organize meetings between partners, which may require careful negotiation and technical support
  • Assist the team in identifying new ways to improve our working processes
  • Ensure reports submitted by officers comply with legislative requirements and our partnership standards
  • Liaise with councillors and senior officers as required
About the Role:

This is a politically restricted post, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a politically neutral environment. The role is based at South Oxfordshire District Council, and the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on a wide range of projects and initiatives.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively in a team. If you have experience in administration, are ICT literate, and have a good understanding of partnership work and public sector decision-making processes, we would love to hear from you.
