We are seeking a motivated and caring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education - London. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN). Your main responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support, implementing individual education plans (IEPs), and monitoring progress.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with their learning and development, using evidence-based strategies to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement IEPs that address the specific needs of each student.
  • Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment by supporting classroom activities and managing behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant with Special Educational Needs experience.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education are desirable but not essential.
