About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at AMIRI BUILDING ENGINEERING INC dba 120 DEGREEZ. As an Engineering Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality training and development programs to our apprentices and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and deliver comprehensive training programs in engineering subjects, including Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, and Fluid Power.
  • Assess and Evaluate Learners: Assess learners' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their progress.
  • Develop Course Materials: Design and develop course materials, including handouts, reference materials, and assessments.
  • Mentor and Guide Learners: Provide guidance and support to learners, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
  • Time-Served Apprentice: A time-served apprentice or relevant City and Guilds (part 3) qualification or full Technical Certificate or national Certificate or higher.
  • Teaching Qualification: A Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification is desirable.
  • Industrial Experience: Industrial experience combined with knowledge of current industry and best practice standards is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Good presentation and communication skills are essential.
