About the Role

Crossroads Care NI is a voluntary organisation dedicated to providing respite care to carers of all ages and abilities. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal, social, and domestic care to our customers, as outlined in their individual care plans. This will include assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to customers, adhering to their individual care plans and promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer care and progress, as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous experience working within a healthcare setting.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Integrity and good character - being honest and trustworthy.
  • Works to high standards.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
