About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Claims Processor to join our team at Lookers Middlesbrough Ford. As a Warranty Claims Processor, you will be responsible for processing warranty claims to manufacturer standards, ensuring accurate submissions and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly warranty reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine completed warranty repair orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare claim forms and supporting materials, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
- Maximize returns from the manufacturer for all warranty work, including the issue of credit notes and associated paperwork
- Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify areas for improvement and administer warranty policy in the best interests of the manufacturer and customer
- Input manufacturer's warranty payments, return warranty parts to the manufacturer, and reconcile warranty schedules
- Maintain accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims
Requirements
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to build and develop relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers
- Self-motivated with a friendly yet professional manner, ambitious, and enthusiastic
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines with diligence and accuracy
- Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator is desirable
