About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Operative to join our Distribution Service Delivery Team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Underground Water network, ensuring the delivery of clean water to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain our Underground Water network, including the upkeep of our Clean Water Network and repair of Clean Water Main Assets.
  • Conduct excavation work on Severn Trent sites and private lands, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to and resolve customer issues, providing excellent customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Liaise with other departments and contract partners to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Undertake a range of duties involved in delivering an effective repair and maintenance service, including repair and replacement of existing water mains and ancillary assets.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving license is required for independent travel to depots and bases.
  • Experience of working safely and operating compliantly is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills are required.
  • A caring attitude and positive approach to work are essential.
