We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts and Credit Control Assistant to join our team at Echo House Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts and credit control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts and Credit Control: You will be responsible for managing client ledgers, issuing invoices, and statements, and answering client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Credit Control: You will monitor overdue balances, chase clients for payment, and maintain accurate records of client communications.
- Financial Reporting: You will support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in producing ad-hoc reports and financial information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Client Onboarding: You will manage the client onboarding process, including credit checks and Sage ledger setup, to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
- Experience: You will have experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures and reconciliation of month-end accounts.
- Skills: You will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications: AAT qualifications or similar are highly desirable, but not essential.
