We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Health and Safety team, ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple sites within the London region.

Your Role:

As a Group Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to site management teams, conduct regular inspections, and investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive site inspections and support visits across various project locations.
  • Provide expert technical and health and safety advice to Site Management Teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate in meetings with Client Health and Safety representatives, contributing your knowledge and expertise to ensure a collaborative approach to safety.
  • Thoroughly investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training programs for both operatives and management teams, enhancing their understanding of health and safety protocols.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction and M&E maintenance within the UK building services industry.
  • Essential: NEBOSH Construction Certificate qualification.
  • Desirable: NEBOSH/IEMA Environmental Qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar health and safety role.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS/JIB card and other relevant licenses.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
