Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to support our Restaurant Manager and Banqueting Manager in the daily operation of the bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, with experience in a quality hotel or restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager and Banqueting Manager in the daily operation of the bar and restaurant
  • Assist with private events, weddings, conferences, and other functions
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a quality hotel or restaurant environment
  • Varying shifts, including daytimes and evenings, 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Food and beverage service experience, ideally within a busy restaurant environment
  • Wine knowledge desirable
  • Smart appearance, warm personality, and good communication skills
  • Methodical, tidy, and organized worker to ensure service runs smoothly
  • Good work ethic
