About the RoleWe are looking for an individual who can combine teaching and assessment experience at Higher Education level with knowledge and a critical understanding of the social, cultural, environmental, political, and economic issues that shape contemporary design practices and theoretical discourses.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and curriculum development in Contextual and Theoretical Studies

We are looking for someone with a background in design history, science and technology studies, media studies, or an associated field, and specialist expertise in one of the following design areas: user experience design, information design, or creative computing.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply innovative digital approaches to teaching and learning, and to apply their own research, including pedagogic research, to the development of learning and assessment practice and innovative approaches to course development and delivery.
They will also have the ability to motivate a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance, and to collaborate and work within teams across different professional groups.
