Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage the full end-to-end purchase ledger process and provide excellent customer service to our suppliers and the wider business. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching and coding invoices onto the system
  • Process high volumes of invoices and credit notes per month
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoicing queries in a professional manner on a timely basis, and to comply with statutory requirements.
  • Maintaining relationships with both colleagues and suppliers
  • Be able to prioritise their workload and work to strict deadlines
  • Dealing with own supplier account base.
  • Statement reconciliation

Essential Skills:

  • IT literate (including MS Excel / Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end of Accounts Payable Function.
  • Ability to recognise and resolve issues with limited supervision
  • Time management and organisation skills to manage workload
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team
