Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and maintain day-to-day PPM tasks, reactive and sub-contractor maintenance.
- Support the Engineering manager and be an integral member of the team.
- Employed within Bank of America Services in a strategically important and highly prestigious account.
Candidates will be time-serviced and have as a minimum, an academic qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
- Multi-skilled engineer with a knowledge of HVAC, Building services (water, gas, heating, ventilation, and waste).
- Having a flexible attitude with a 'can do' approach and who is prepared to work outside their skill base to provide a customer-based service.
- Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
- Having administration skills to maintain computer-based and hardcopy systems for statutory inspection and test.
- Be able to react and work on their own initiative on an on-call system.
- Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to CWES guidelines and bulletins.
- Ensure that service providers' worksheets are signed off, quality of works are inspected, and any recommendations are escalated.
- Planning including prioritization of tasks from PPMs and help desk requests.
- Reacting to breakdowns and changes in priorities.
- Progress control and quality control.
- Proven experience as a shift engineer in building services within a prestigious environment.
- City and Guild qualification and any relevant qualification in all aspects of building services mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Must have team working experience and excel at motivation of small teams under substantial pressure.
- Have a can-do attitude and flexible approach.
