We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Education Support Assistant to join our team at a highly respected, 2-form entry school in Barnet. As a key member of our academic support team, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to a child with SEMH needs, utilizing emotional coaching strategies to promote regulation and well-being.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting a child with SEMH needs, using emotional coaching strategies to promote self-regulation and emotional intelligence.
- Developing and implementing tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of a child with complex learning requirements.
- Collaborating with teachers to create engaging learning resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with children with complex needs, a strong understanding of emotional coaching strategies, and a passion for creating inclusive learning environments.
Salary: £93,000 - £98,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
