At Holtec International, we are seeking an experienced Project Lead for Nuclear Site Operations to join our International Site Services (ISS) Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading site-based work, focusing on installation, commissioning, and operation of equipment on clients' power stations.

This role requires excellent leadership and project management capabilities, with a strong attention to client stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will be well-rounded in engineering and project management, capable of operating independently and developing strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all site-based portions of the project, delivering successful project outcomes in all areas.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with everyone associated with the project.
  • Provide operational and strategic direction for the site project team.
  • Act as a safety champion for all company and sub-contractor employees.
  • Drive quality delivery through effective planning and right-first-time delivery.
  • Lead and manage the project site team, ensuring high levels of commitment, morale, and motivation at all levels.
  • Adept cost-conscious management through efficient use of all resources.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Successful experience and performance at Project Management on industrial sites or construction sites.
  • Excellent leadership and project management capabilities, with strong attention to client stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and abroad, up to 30% of the year.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Project Management Qualifications APM (PPQ or PMQ) or PMP.
  • 5 years of experience in the nuclear, construction, petrochemical, or power generation sector.
  • SMSTS /NEBOSH
  • Previous experience working in Nuclear is preferred but not essential.
