We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in Bristol, UK. As a key member of our Nuclear New Build business, you will play a critical role in supporting major stakeholders in the nuclear sector achieve their goals.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support to clients during the commissioning and start-up phases of new nuclear power stations. With a strong background in equipment engineering, such as Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and I&C, you will be expected to provide design analysis in support of construction changes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the growth and development of our Nuclear New Build business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide engineering support to clients during the commissioning and start-up phases of new nuclear power stations
* Conduct design analysis in support of construction changes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations
* Develop and deliver a pipeline of work that helps grow and deploy capable staff as clients' projects progress from construction through commissioning and pre-operations into operations
Requirements
* Prior experience in Construction or Operational Support activities, including but not limited to: operational roles and/or operational support roles at operational nuclear power plants (ideally PWR technology plants), or another highly regulated industry
* Experience in the construction, commissioning, pre-operational or operational environments with a strategic awareness of international best practice and operational focus
* Strong technical and operational expertise with a strategic view of international best practice and execution of work
* Ability to travel and work from client sites as required
Benefits
* Competitive salary: £90,000 - £130,000 per annum
