Senior Visual Designer, Brand and Creative Lead

Amazon Fashion is seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to lead the conceptualization and execution of all visual creative content for Amazon Fashion. This role will cover the entire gamut of on-site communication with the customer, defining the visual language, creating design concepts for each season, and working on photo shoots to create the necessary imagery. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, endless creative energy, and a keen awareness of current trends in fashion, design, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery, and create design style guides and original graphics for any small- and large-scale projects. They will also plan and coordinate shoots as per project requirements, review junior designers' work to ensure high-quality output, and generate ideas to deliver as propositions as per the brief. Additionally, they will continuously enhance and improve customer experience on Amazon Fashion & Beauty through design, maintain brand consistency throughout all projects, and liaise with marketing, category, and creative teams to ensure deadlines are met.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Available online portfolio
  • Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers, and content creators
  • Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
  • Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles
  • A keen awareness of current trends in fashion, design, and communication
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and confident presentation skills
  • Understanding of Brand visual identity/design
  • Ability to utilize data-driven insights in developing design strategy
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
